If you've ever thought of visiting Africa "someday" don't wait -- this is the trip of your dreams! Set up for single anglers, couples or groups of friends, this African Safari has something for everyone.
Starting off in Johannesburg at the luxurious Michelangelo Hotel, we will then travel on to Sun City's Palace of the Lost City, one of the most incredible and opulant hotels in the world. Together we will take an early morning game-drive and savor the full essence of an African safari -- elephants, hippos, lions and other big game. Afterwards there is time to play golf, spend time at the pool and water park or simply relax.
From Sun City we will fly to the camps where guests can fish if they choose, go on game-drives or simply relax at the camps and enjoy the river and wildlife. The safari lodges offer very comfortable lodging and delicious meals.
Then it is onto Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. We will stay at the Royal Livingstone Hotel, overlooking the Zambezi River and take a tour of the falls and local market. We will join together for a group dinner and enjoy some local culture at the beautiful colonial style hotel.
The next day, we will return to the USA or those taking the Cape Town Extension will continue on to Cape Town and stay at the superb Table Bay Hotel overlooking the marina in Cape Town.

It can weigh over 100 pounds and its jaws are armed with 32 razor-sharp teeth that can shear through the strongest steel leaders and even straighten hooks. The few anglers that have battled these monsters are awestruck by the fish’s ferocious strikes, long runs and spectacular jumps.

Located 90 minutes south of Aswan, Lake Nasser, the largest man-made lake in Africa, was created by the building of the Aswan Dam in 1952. Your safari will start in Aswan and take you due south where you can experience the changing scenery while fishing one of the world's largest freshwater fish. Jarring strikes, lightening runs and acrobatic leaps, challenge light-tackle and fly enthusiasts from around the globe. The typical tigerfish weighs 3-8 pounds, with trophies running from 10-20 pounds. Fishing is prime when river levels are low, usually from September through November. Along with great fishing, you'll savor the full essence of an African safari -- elephants, hippos, lions and other big game are easily observed amid the stunning backdrop of the Zambezi River.
