The virtually undiscovered Placencia Peninsula in southern Belize is a haven for some of the world’s best light-tackle saltwater fishing. The flats off Ranguana, Lime and Sapodilla Cayes harbor a year-round abundance of 10-30 pound permit. Add trophy tarpon and some of the Caribbean’s best bonefishing and you’ve got yourself a Placencia grand slam. But there’s plenty more! Just a 45-minute boat ride away, in the blue water lying off the Belizean Reef, tuna, mackerel, snapper, grouper, barracuda and jack crevalle will keep you in reel ecstacy.

Crocodile Bay Lodge sits on the Osa Penisula, adjacent to one of Costa Ricas' most beautiful beaches. Offshore and inshore fishing come together here in a phenomenal way.
