Legendary Catfish & Trophy Carp
Spain offers some of the best fishing in Europe. The Rio Ebro is famous throughout Europe for its large diversity of fish. However, probably the most famous fish is the giant Catfish that have been known to reach up to 300lbs. Fishing for trophy Carp in the 20-50lb. range also has become popular during the winter months. If these two species aren't enough try your skills at the predatory Zander that also reaches up to 20lbs or you can fish for some Spanish Largemouth Bass introduced in 1955. The camp is run by a highly experienced and knowledgeable team of international angling guides (all English speaking) who will help make your fishing trip run smoothly.
Wels Catfish Crusade
The Rio Ebro is famous for the Wels Catfish that can reach up to 300 pounds. This great sportfish is becoming one of Europe's most popular gamefish. With the help of your experienced guide you will fish for these great fish with top of the line fishing gear and tackle. Also available for fishing are the trophy carp that have been known to reach 30 pounds. These fish are mainly targeted during the winter months but can be targeted year round. With several other species of fish available this watershed offers the angler a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Fly into Barcelona, Spain, where you will proceed through Customs. Next you will rent a car and drive to the Bavarian Guide Service Office located in Mequinenza on the banks of the famous Ebro River System at Riba Roja. There you will meet your fishing guide who will check you into your apartment.
(All accommodation prices are for one week and include a boat. Prices do not include guiding, tackle hire or fishing licences.

SAMPLE OUTLINE ITINERARY

Day 1: Fly into Barcelona, Spain, where you will claim your luggage and transfer through Customs. Next you will rent a car and drive to the International fishing camp hotel located at Mequinenza on the banks of the famous Ebro River System at Riba Roja.
Day 2: Your first day of guided fishing starts, and the hunt for the great Wels Catfish begins. When conditions are right the Ebro river system offers some of the best Wels cat-fishing in Spain. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the other species avaiable. These fish include the trophy Carp that reach over 30 pounds and the predatory Zander that have prospered into double digits since the river system was damned. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3-8: Continue your fishing trip in Spain with 6 more days of guided fishing for Wels catfish and other species available. You will Overnight at your hotel each evening.
Day 8: Pack your bags and checkout from your hotel. Drive your rent-a-car back to the return center in Barcelona, Spain. Here you will transfer to the international airport in time to go through customs and board your international flight back home.
A valid passport with at least six months validity is required for U.S. citizens
