Where the Fish Go!
Totem Resort offers 5-star service and lodgings alongside first-class fishing for walleye, pike, musky, crappie, largemouth and smallmouth bass. Nestled among a combination of the mainland and private islands on beautiful Lake of the Woods, Totem Resorts has something for everyone. With four lodges, Totem Lodge, Yellow Bird Lodge and Chalet, Wiley Point Lodge and French Portage Outpost, Totem Resorts offers a unique experience to meet each angler's specific needs. For the angler wanting luxury accommodation and gourmet meals, there is Yellow Bird, to the angler wanting a self-sufficient remote outpost then French Portage is the lodge of choice. Anglers looking for a quieter experience can simply enjoy Wiley Point.
Conference room facilities, Totem's famous shore lunches and private cocktail parties can be arranged for groups including large corporate parties.
Fishing is out of this world with trophy walleye being the most famous catch of the lake. Walleye average between 16-25 inches with about 20-30 walleyes caught per two-angler boats per day. Slightly less numbers of pike are caught but nevertheless sizes range between 30-45 inches. And let's not forget, the elusive 50-inch muskies swimming around. Prime season runs June-October with each month bringing in a new species.
Every few years, Totem introduces a new fleet of fully equipped boats that satisfy even the most discriminating of anglers. With expert guides and a fully stocked tackle shop right on the premises, Canadian fishing does not get better than this!
