You can experience the ultimate in fishing in a variety of ways at King Pacific Lodge: Saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing, trolling, mooching and both fly and spin casting.

Both freshwater and saltwater fishing are available. The lodge's professional guides will provide instruction and knowledge necessary for a memorable trip. Saltwater trolling for Chinook, Coho, Chum and Pink Salmon are available through the season. (Chinook season peaks from May to mid-July). Saltwater fly-fishing is a specialty of the lodge. In addition to salmon, the waters team with halibut, rockfish, lingcod and yellow-eye. The lodge is also renowned for freshwater fly-in fishing adventures. Crystal clear streams thrive with wild salmon and trout. The lodge's helicopter and jet boats can whisk you to a remote river to some of the best flyfishing waters in coast British Columbia. (extra fee applies). Catch and release practices are mandatory for all freshwater fishing areas.

May to September . This region boasts a surprisingly moderate and comfortable climate throughout the entire fishing season, from May through September. King salmon are strong in June and July, as are the abundant sockeyes. Silver salmon action heats up July through August, while abundant pinks are migrating from August through September. Deep water halibut and cod fishing is just 100 yards off shore and are available throughout the entire season.

You'll fly to Vancouver, British Columbia. (Depending on your arrival flight time, you may need to overnight in Vancouver. We can help with hotel arrangement). You will be met by lodge staff at the airport and can check in for your flight to Bella Bella, connecting with a charter floatplane flight to King Pacific Lodge.

The ultimate in comfort and beauty, King Pacific Lodge is crafted from massive timber, native stone and premium materials. Seventeen oversized rooms and suites await guests with king-sized beds, a lounging area, and ensuite bathroom. Upgrades to two-bedroom junior suites, or the deluxe Princess Royal Suite may be requested. The lodge's massive Great Room beckons guests with double-sided rock-clad fireplace, easy chairs and leather sofas. Other amenities include a health spa and game room.
With superb dining prepared by world-class chefs, King Pacific Lodge will fulfill your highest expectations. The dining room offers vast ocean views, five-star meals and elegant seating. On especially fine weather days, lunch, dinner and cocktails are served on the verandah.
SAMPLE OUTLINE ITINERARY

Day 1: (Friday) Fly from Vancouver, B.C. to Bella Bella, connecting with scenic floatplane flight to lodge. Dinner and overnight.
Days 2-3: Full days fishing with your guide. Overnight at lodge.
Day 4: Full day fishing. Return to Vancouver. Overnight hotel.
Longer stays, flyouts, group and custom packages available on request.
A valid passport required for U.S. citizens. Passengers assume all responsibility for carrying proper documentation.
Be sure to bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring dramamine if you are prone to sea sickness. Note: health precautions are offered here as an informational service only. See your doctor or health clinic.
Temperatures typically range from 40 to 78 degrees.
We recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance to cover any losses should you have to cancel to due to unforeseen illness or other emergency. Certain restrictions do apply. Premium rates are typically about $65 per $1,000 of coverage, and usually include some benefits for lost baggage, trip interruption, and emergency evacuation.
